Marking main interrupt as wakeup interrupt in probe allows us to drop
custom suspend/resume methods whose only purpose was to configure interrupt
for waking up the system.

pseudo-keyword macro fallthrough.
Notice that Clang doesn't recognize /* Fall through */ comments as
implicit fall-through markings.

In omap4_keypad_probe, the patch fix several bugs.
1) pm_runtime_get_sync will increment pm usage counter even it
failed. Forgetting to pm_runtime_put_noidle will result in
reference leak.
2) In err_unmap, forget to disable runtime of device,
pm_runtime_enable will increase power disable depth. Thus a
pairing decrement is needed on the error handling path to keep
it balanced.
3) In err_pm_disable, it will call pm_runtime_put_sync twice not
one time.
To fix this we factor out code reading revision and disabling touchpad, and
drop PM reference once we are done talking to the device.

The driver clears the general configuration register during the remove()
hook. This should also be done in case the driver exits on error.
This change move the clear of that register to the
devm_add_action_or_reset() hook.

This change makes use of the devm_gpiochip_add_data() function. With this
the gpiochip_remove() function can be removed, and the
adp5589_gpio_remove() function as well.
The kpad->export_gpio variable is also redundant now, and has been removed.

This is currently just dead code. It's from around a time when
platform-data was used, and a board could hook it's own special callback
for setup/teardown, and a private object (via 'context').
This change removes it, as there are no more users in mainline for this.

This change makes use of the devm_input_allocate_device() function, which
gets rid of the input_free_device() and input_unregister_device() calls.
When a device is allocated via input_allocate_device(), the
input_register_device() call will also be device-managed, so there is no
longer need to manually call unregister.
Also, the irq is allocated with the devm_request_threaded_irq(), so with
these two changes, the adp5589_keypad_remove() function is no longer
needed.
This cleans up the error & exit paths.

This removes the need to manually free the kpad object and cleans up some
exit/error paths. The error path cleanup should reduce the risk of any
memory leaks with this object.

This adds the code for the Atmel touchscreens such as mXT224 to obtain
power regulators for the supply voltages AVDD and VDD. On mobile phones
such as Samsung GT-I8190 (Golden) this is needed to explicitly bring power
online.
We just enable the regulators at probe() and disable them at remove()
or in the error path for now.
As regulators are naturally stubbed if not available, this should have no
impact on existing systems.

This driver uses GPIO descriptors to drive the touchscreen RESET line. In
the existing device trees this has in conflict with intution been flagged
as GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH and the driver then applies the reverse action by
driving the line low (setting to 0) to enter reset state and driving the
line high (setting to 1) to get out of reset state.
The correct way to handle active low GPIO lines is to provide the
GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW in the device tree (thus properly describing the hardware)
and letting the GPIO framework invert the assertion (driving high) to a
low level and vice versa.
This is considered a bug since the device trees are incorrectly
mis-specifying the line as active high.
Fix the driver and all device trees specifying a reset line.

"Here is the large set of Staging and IIO driver patches for 5.9-rc1.
Lots of churn here, but overall the size increase in lines added is

Some new devices, but particularly good this time is the core rework coming
from Alexandru. Some of this has been in Analog's tree a long time, but other

This will be a long term job, but should reduce the number of drivers
we get that use parts that are currently only 'internal' by documentation.
* Move attach and detach of pollfunc to the core. Every triggered buffer
using driver had to do the same thing, so lets do it in the core. The
hard part here was getting all the drivers into canonical form so there
would be no functional changes in this final patch. That's taken quite
a lot of work over last couple of cycles!

It updates 302 files and does 307 deletions.
This semantic patch also removes some comments like
'/* Establish that the iio_dev is a child of the i2c device */'
But this is is only done in case where the block is left empty.
The patch does not seem to cover all cases. It looks like in some cases a
different variable is used in some cases to assign the parent, but it
points to the same reference.
In other cases, the block covered by ... may be just too big to be covered
by the semantic patch.
However, this looks pretty good as well, as it does cover a big bulk of the
drivers that should remove the parent assignment.

Using uninitialized_var() is dangerous as it papers over real bugs[1]
(or can in the future), and suppresses unrelated compiler warnings
(e.g. "unused variable"). If the compiler thinks it is uninitialized,
either simply initialize the variable or make compiler changes.
In preparation for removing[2] the[3] macro[4], remove all remaining
needless uses with the following script:

No outstanding warnings were found building allmodconfig with GCC 9.3.0
for x86_64, i386, arm64, arm, powerpc, powerpc64le, s390x, mips, sparc64,
alpha, and m68k.

Pull tasklets API update from Kees Cook:
"These are the infrastructure updates needed to support converting the
tasklet API to something more modern (and hopefully for removal
further down the road).
There is a 300-patch series waiting in the wings to get set out to
subsystem maintainers, but these changes need to be present in the
kernel first. Since this has some treewide changes, I carried this
series for -next instead of paining Thomas with it in -tip, but it's
got his Ack.
This is similar to the timer_struct modernization from a while back,
but not nearly as messy (I hope). :)

This converts all the existing DECLARE_TASKLET() (and ...DISABLED)
macros with DECLARE_TASKLET_OLD() in preparation for refactoring the
tasklet callback type. All existing DECLARE_TASKLET() users had a "0"
data argument, it has been removed here as well.

Pull unicore32 removal from Mike Rapoport:
"Remove unicore32 support.
The unicore32 port do not seem maintained for a long time now, there
is no upstream toolchain that can create unicore32 binaries and all
the links to prebuilt toolchains for unicore32 are dead. Even
compilers that were available are not supported by the kernel anymore.
Guenter Roeck says:
"I have stopped building unicore32 images since v4.19 since there is
no available compiler that is still supported by the kernel. I am
surprised that support for it has not been removed from the kernel"
However, it's worth pointing out two things:
- Guan Xuetao is still listed as maintainer and asked for the port to
be kept around the last time Arnd suggested removing it two years
ago. He promised that there would be compiler sources (presumably
llvm), but has not made those available since.
- https://github.com/gxt has patches to linux-4.9 and qemu-2.7, both
released in 2016, with patches dated early 2019. These patches
mainly restore a syscall ABI that was never part of mainline Linux
but apparently used in production. qemu-2.8 removed support for
that ABI and newer kernels (4.19+) can no longer be built with the
old toolchain, so apparently there will not be any future updates
to that git tree"

This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines,

There are a variety of indentation styles found.

c) 8 spaces + '---help---'
d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---'
e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation)
f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---'
g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---'
In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the
following commend:

Presumably since nobody has noticed this for the last 12 years, there is
not anyone actually trying to use this driver so we can just remove this
special walnut code and use the generic header so it builds for all
configurations.
